Jello shots are done, I ran out of Vodka, so 127 will have to do. Today I will finish off the dungeon and the kitchen, then just add the finishing touches to the decor and I am finished! Yeah! I'll call KFC and order 60 Honey BBQ Wings (Bloody Bat Wings) for pick up this afternoon. This week I will be posting some of my favorite Halloween recipes, feel free to use any that strike your fancy. Today I have two:
Bloody Bone Spread
Number of servings: abt. 40 people
INGREDIENTS
2 pkg. fat free cream cheese
2 pkg. salad dressing mix (powdered)
Crackers
Red food coloring
Dill
INSTRUCTIONS
1) In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, dressing mix and enough food coloring to make the mixture look bloody.
2) Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3) Form mixture into a ball, sprinkle or roll in dill. Serve with crackers.

BBQ Ogre Balls
Number of servings: Yield 28 meat balls, 14 servings.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup catsup
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 tbls liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. barbecue seasoning (Durkee is best)
1 tsp. sugar twin
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
3 tbls grated onions
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 cup skim milk
1-1/2 lbs. ground round or ground sirloin (weighed and ground after fat has been removed)
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Blend catsup, tomato sauce, liquid smoke, barbecue seasoning and sugar twin together well to form a barbecue sauce and set aside at room temperature for later use.
2) Place oatmeal, crumbs, onions, salt, pepper, and milk in a mixer bowl and mix together at low speed (or use hands) to mix well.
3) Add beef to mixture and mix at low speed (or with hands) until blended. DO NOT over mix.
4) Shape into balls using 2 tablespoons of the mixture for the for each meatball. Place on a cookie sheet or baking stone and broil 2-4 minutes.
5) Remove from cookie sheet and place in a casserole, brushing the balls with barbecue sauce as you put them in the casserole.
6) Pour any remaining sauce over the meatballs, cover, and bake at 325 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until done. Serve hot.
