Fall, fall, fall, fall; Fall, fall, fall, fall - cool, crisp, I feel like making soup. I love fall! I feel revitalized this time of year. The leaves are turning beautiful colors, I just love the show the Goddess puts on.
Halloween is in the air. Hubby and I went out to Antioch yesterday. We went to the bank, he took me out to breakfast for our anniversary (12 years, I can't believe it! Where does the time go?), then to Blinkers! I found a beautiful costume that actually fits!!!! Note to the other beautiful women of size out there, the plus size costumes run about 1 full size smaller than marked. I normally wear woman's size 18/20 bottoms and 20/22 tops, the costume is marked size 24/26 and fits beautifully. Hubby found a great costume! He's going to look very sexy! My friend Earthy and her Hubby are having their annual Halloween party next weekend. I can't wait, the jello shots will fly. I'm curious to see what our friend whom we shall refer to as Pattycake, will wear, and to see just how many red jello shots she can consume before getting sick or passing out. I know, I know. It's cruel, but it's funny!
I remember (sort of) the day when I was young and drunk, I used to like to do specialty shots at the bars, up one side of the list and down the other. 20 years ago, I got very sick on peppermint schnapps (sp?), to this day, I can't stand the smell.
Happy Anniversary for yesterday to my friend Her Royal Majesty, Queen of the Universe and her Hubs.
I have the bridal shower today, I have decided to be nice. No gag gifts. I put together a basket with the towels I bought at B. B. and B. (see previous post), a lavender votive, a beautiful crackle finish votive holder, a gorgeous Burgundy lace teddy and a bottle of lavender bath oil that I am mixing up this morning. I will wrap it beautifully, and ever so tastefully, tie it up with as many ribbons as I can. Lets see her unwrap it without breaking any of them! Whahahahahaha (in my best cackle)!!!!
