Back from the VA. Ultrasound done, gave the vampires their fix of blood, and saw bubble head. She is weaning me off the Gabapentin. This will take about two weeks. Then I start on Topiramate (Topomax). She is starting me out at 25 mg 2x a day for 1 week, then 50 mg 2x a day for 1 week, then 75 mg 2x a day for 1 week, then 100 mg 2x a day for 1 week, I see her again Nov. 30. Herbal interactions are gingko and Evening primrose, side effects - sedative affect, affects word finding ability in memory (I have trouble with words now) and Weight Loss. I still need to look it up on the internet to find out all about it.
