Well I made it home last night from the UP, I like going up there, but it's good to be home. This afternoon I got a call from by brother-in-law. My nephew M's girlfriend was in her car following him to work this morning and was killed in an accident. He wasn't involved in the accident, but held her hand and talked to her while waiting for the rescue squad. She died instantly. This beautiful young woman had just turned 21 in July. M has has a very hard 18 months. He lost a very close friend last summer to a car accident, broke up with his girlfriend of three years, got together with J (they have known each other for over 7 years), lost his best friend to cancer at age 22, lost his great-grandmother and now his girlfriend. They had been talking about moving in together, and we don't know yet if she was pregnant. I fear for M, he does'nt always handle his emotions well.
