I got a lot done today! I got all of my fall/winter clothes out of the trunk at the foot of my bed and the wardrobe box in one of the other rooms. I tried everything on and (yes!!) most of it fit! I got the spring/summer stuff put away. Now all I need to do is go through all of my bras and lingerie, see what doesn't fit, and get rid of it. Hubby is bringing up the costume tote from the dungeon so we can go through that.
I went to Gurnee Mills today, I needed to pick up a bridal shower gift at Bed Bath and Beyond. My cousin SM is getting married, at 27 she is the baby of the group. There are fourteen of us first cousins and we are fairly close. At 45, I am the oldest of the group.
While I was at the Mills, I went to Halloween Express, they have some pretty cool stuff. However, the costumes are a bit over priced. The body parts, and other gore seem to be priced about average. The problem with that store is they do not take personal checks, so not having my credit card with me or having enough cash, I left without purchase.
I went to Spencers, this is one of my favorite stores on the planet. They have the coolest shit!! I found the perfect witch hat, it's wired and a bit twisted, just like me! They have some really cool Halloween props this year, I may have to go back after payday.
Tomorrow, Hubby and I celebrate out 12th anniversary! We are going out to Antioch for breakfast at the Las Vegas restaurant, then, to my other favorite Halloween shop, J. J. Blinkers. I don't know what I will buy yet, but I know they will have something I desperately need for Halloween. Yes, you guessed it, I am a Halloween freak! It is my favorite holiday! Always has been. I'm not sure where I am going to put all the props this year, but I will figure it out. My goal is to frighten as many children as possible this year. And I hope we get trick or treater's this year, at the apartment, we didn't get any. I give out the good candy, full size chocolate bars, reese cups, m&m's, etc.....
